Qualification & work experience

Mr. Ju Bum Park is a graduate of Seoul National University, College of Law and received his bachelor of law degree in 1982. Upon his dissertation in the same year, he was appointed as a judge advocate at the Republic of Korea armed forces. In 1989, Mr. Park served as a director for the National Defense Procurement Headquarters. Then in the very next year, he worked as a judge advocate in the Republic of Korea Embassy to Washington D.C., United States. In 1993, he was named the Director General of the Joint Chief of Staff to the President of Korea. Two years later, he served as senior judge at the High Military Court. One year later, he was part of the Seoul National University's Judicial Research Program, in particular, in areas of financial transaction law. As well, during the same year, Mr. Park served as the Director of the Prosecution Affairs at the Ministry of National Defense. In 1997, he undertook a teaching role at the Korea University's Medical Law Research Program and was also the representative of the Ministry of National Defense and the International Commercial Arbitration. In 1998, he undertook the position as the Director of the Judicial Affairs at the Procurement Headquarters of the Ministry of National Defense. In the new millennium Mr. Park served as the Chief of the Second Command and Commissioner of the National Repatriation Deliberation Commission in Daegu City and Kyungbuk Province. In 2002, he taught advanced e-Government program as professor at the KAIST Graduate School of management. In 2004, Mr. Park was the Chief member of the Military Pension Deliberation Committee at the Ministry of Defense and member of the Deliberation Committee for Military Defense Deal Coordination. In 2005, he taught advanced leaders program at the Seoul National University College of Law and was the judicial controller at the Ministry of National Defense. Since year 2006, Mr. Park has been a partner attorney and tax accountant at the Barun Law.

Domestic Activity

Mr. Park is a member of the Tax Research Institute, Seoul Bar Association and the Korean Bar Association. In 1987, he also was a member of the Korea Traders' Association in charge of its trade program.
