Qualification & work experience
Mr. Ki Tai Park is a graduate of Seoul
National University from the College of Law. Several years
after receiving his bachelor of law degree from the school
in 1980 and passing the national bar exam, Mr. Park entered
the Judicial Research and Training School of Korea in 1984.
He also studied in America's Columbia University School
of Law and received his master of law degree from there
in 1995. He also enrolled in the study of advanced management
program in 2006 offered by Korea University. Mr. Park passed
the high-ranking civil servants exam in 1980; he practiced
law as a judge advocate at the Army of the Republic of Korea
from 1985 to 1987. Mr. Park served as an associate lawyer
for the firm of Kim, Shin & Yu from 1988 to 1996. Then in
1996, he worked as a foreign counsel at the firm of Darby
& Darby in New York, New York. In the same year, upon finishing
his service for the firm in New York, he had returned to
Korea and had begun to work as a partner lawyer for the
firm of Kim, Shin & Yu for two years between 2004 and 2005.
In year 2001, Mr. Park was named the professor in corporate
law at the Judicial Research and Training Institute of Korea
and had worked there until 2006. Also in 2001, he was appointed
as professor of Inha University in the field of venture
business law. From 2003 through 2005, he served as an outside
director for the Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Ltd. In 1999,
he served as an advisor to the Ministry of Justice for Korea.
Since 2003, he has been serving as an advisor for the Seoul
Metropolitan Government.

Since 2006, Mr. Park has served as a member of the Policy Advisory Committee for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Mr. Park is a member of both the Seoul Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. He is fluent in Korean, English and Japanese.
